Amanda and Jackson’s wedding day beautifully merged coastal charm with classic elegance. Their venue showcased timeless design with its modern, clean lines and understated sophistication. The result was a stylish celebration that felt both refined and effortlessly chic.

Amanda + Jackson’s wedding took place on a warm summer day on the lakefront in Petoskey, MI. The water was crystal clear blue and made for the perfect backdrop for their wedding day ceremony. It unfortunately downpoured right at 5pm when the ceremony began but the bride was such a good sport about it. The venue provided all of their guests with umbrellas and did their very best to make sure the seats were not soaking wet. Despite the rain, they still had a beautiful and meaningful ceremony!

Their color palette consisted of whites, beiges and light blues. It was the perfect combination for an elegant and coastal wedding theme. We brought in some fun patterns with linens which really brought the entire design together.

My favorite design element was their sweetheart table. We did a gorgeous light blue velvet linen and topped the table with candlelight and bud vases. We repurposed the ceremony florals on the ground in front of the sweetheart table and they fit perfectly – as though they were designed specifically for that table. It was a dream

Amanda found In the Details through a friend who also got married at her venue and worked with us exactly one year prior to her big day! Her friend, MaryRose, told her that she HAD to work with In the Details for her big day. We were honored to say the least!
